Karena Aura/Elemen yang disajikan oleh sang Creator Shinji Mikami ini terbukti efektif untuk membuat para gamer yang pertama kali memainkanya tidak bisa tidur nyenyak karena saking takutnya sama moster-moster yang ada di game ini, sampai-sampai terbayang hal-hal yang seram, seperti yang telah dialami oleh sang karakter utama dalam game tersebut (maksudnya adalah sesuatu yang membuat tokoh protagonis mati/game over, seperti terkena ledakan, di potong lehernya oleh si Dr.salvador, atau bahkan di mutilasi oleh moster U3), selain itu ada banyak hal-hal yang menegangkan saat anda berpetualang di desa Pueblo seperti dikejar-kejar Dr.salvador, atau diburu Garrador si cakar besi/X-Man saat anda berada di Castle.
